Training built around your dog as an individual

Every dog is different. They have different personalities, different motivators, different thoughts and fears. There is no cookie cutter method to dog training. It is working with the dog you have right in front of you, and teaching in whichever way they learn best.

To do this we meet them where they are, understand their perspective, find what motivates them, and then determine what the best path forward is.

The Process

Step 1: Consultation

We spend time observing and interacting with your dog, watching how they respond, what gets their attention, and what their body language tells us. You help us make a list of goals for you and your dog.

Step 2: Training Plan

After the consultation, your trainer will put together a plan for what services they think will benefit you and your dog the most. This will include the type of services, frequency, and ways you can practice at home between sessions.

Step 3: Maintenance and Support

Even after you and your dog have met your goals, those skills and behaviors will need to be maintained. Our trainer is always here for questions, follow up training sessions, boarding when you're out of town, and whatever else you may need.

“That the mental experiences of dogs aren’t as complex as ours is no

reason to dismiss those experiences altogether.”
